Why People Start Search Engine Optimization

In the year 1990s, content providers and Web masters decide to start search engine optimization because they are still the one who was cataloging the early web.  Before, the webmasters only job is to submit the page address, or the URL, to various engines which you may say can send a spider to crawl the page, get links for other pages from it, and then return the information that was found on the page to be indexed.  This process involves a spider downloading page and storing it on the server of the search engine, where the second program that is called as the indexer keeps the information about the page.  The indexer keeps the word such as the words the page contains, where they are located, and even the weight of the specific word.  These will then be placed on a scheduler for the crawling process soon.  Site owners had paid attention on this optimizing process because they had seen that this will make their sites having high rankings.  And this also gives opportunity for black and white hat SEO practitioners.  This is a summary of how search engine optimization started.  And now, the abbreviation SEO means more than trying to be on top of search engine results.
