Skin and Lip Care Tips

Hot and cold weather and a sudden change in the weather can be rough on skin.  They can immediately affect sensitive skin that easily gets dry and dehydrated.  That is why it is advisable, whenever or wherever you are, that you take extra care on your skin.  Whether you are off a ski resort or just watching the whales in the beach, don’t forget to put some protection on.

If you are going for a trip, start moisturizing your skin often about a week or two before you leave.  This is to prepare your skin to acclimatize and keep it protected.

For travelers on cold places, cracking lips has always been their problem.  And it is also a painful affair.  Use an ordinary petroleum jelly to protect your lips.  But if you are considering a lipstick, choose the one that contains sunscreen and moisturizer.

Although bathing is really fun and so enjoyable on the beach, don’t over-bathe for it can harm your skin.  Over-cleansing can harm the skin rather than help it.  And over-bathing on the salt water can really get your skin dry.

Choose only cleansing products that are gentle to the skin type you have.  Too harsh products can harm your skin.

Bathe in warm water and not on hot water.  It can strip the protective oils from your body.   Always use a moisturizer after bathing to lock in the moisture you got from bathing.
